Alister McGrath joins King’s College
April 25th, 2008 by James GrantAlister McGrath, well-known author and current professor at the University of Oxford, has been appointed to the newly created Chair in Theology, Ministry, and Education at King’s College in London. Concerning his appoint, which will take place in September 2008, McGrath says, “I am delighted to be able to join such a vibrant and forward-looking department. London is presently the most dynamic centre for new ventures in theological education, and I am very excited about the opportunities this appointment brings.” You can read the detailed announcement here at King’s College.

Very cool. McGrath is tremendous. I may have to move to London now.

Not a big fan of McGrath … this, no doubt, has to do with the massive problems at Wycliffe Hall; problems that are surely unique in this day and age (ie. renaissance of conservatism).
