In Light of the Gospel

Ted Olsen has reported a story related to J. I. Packer’s position in the Anglican Church of Canada’s Diocese of New Westminster. Evidently the diocese has threatened to suspend Packer, and although this is not surprising, it has the “potential to make non-Anglican evangelicals worldwide more interested in the Anglican crisis.” Olsen’s article has several links that will provide more background information, and the Communications Officer of the Diocese of New Westminster left a comment on Olsen’s post explaining their perspective on this situation.
